Q: What is the difference between AP (Advanced Placement) and DC (Dual Credit)?
A: AP are college-level advanced placement courses.  Students in AP courses can pay, at the end of the course, to take the AP exam.  A score of 3 or better on the AP exam can be used at some colleges in place of a college course.  Note that not all colleges accept AP test scores in place of a college class.  Check with the college you are planning to attend for specific requirements.

DC are college-level courses that count as a high school credit and a college course.  These courses require a fee.  Most colleges will accept these courses, but you should always check with the college you are planning to attend for specific requirements.
