OGHS KEY CLUB 2021-22
Welcome to Key Club Caring – Our Way of Life
Key Club is the oldest and largest service program for high school students. The first Key Club was formed in Sacramento, CA in 1925, but they now exist in almost 5000 high schools all over the world. Key Club is a student-led organization that teaches leadership through serving others. As a member of the Key Club, you will have the opportunity to obtain various scholarships, perform service projects in our community and in our school, and build character and leadership skills in the process.
Some of our activities and projects include:
- School Supply Drive
- Canned Goods for Edwards Street Fellowship Center
- Christmas Caroling
- Working in the Warrior Hut
- Helping with soccer games concessions
- Kiwanis of Hattiesburg Pancake Breakfast
- Collecting supplies & donating to the Hub City Humane Society
Membership Application--
Members pay $40 to join the OGHS Key Club. The membership includes a T-shirt. Members must fill out an application that includes 2 teacher emails. Members agree to work on various projects and activities that provide service to our local community. Outside service hours do not count towards KEY CLUB service hours. If service obligations are not met, the membership will be revoked.
Club Meetings
Key Club will be meeting in Room PAC 112 on the first Thursday of every month, plus other times, when appropriate.
